Hidden Markov Model-Based Control for Cooperative Output Regulation of Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems under Switching Network Topology

This paper investigates the problem of stochastically cooperative output regulation heterogeneous multi-agent systems (MASs) subject to hidden Markov jumps using observer-based distributed control. In order address a more realistic situation than prior studies, this focuses on following issues: (1) asynchronous phenomena in system mode’s transmission controller; (2) impact mode switching network topology; and (3) emergence coupled terms between mode-dependent Lyapunov matrix control gain design conditions. Specifically, reduce complexity arising from controller-side mode, leader–state observer is developed so that solution pair regulator equations can be integrated into observer. Furthermore, linear decoupling method proposed handle aforementioned terms; provides sufficient LMI conditions achieve for MASs. Finally, validity shown through two illustrative examples.
